Central location:
10-minute walk from Oktogon and Nyugati pu. (Western Railway Station) on the Grand Boulevard / Big Ring Road with underground, tram and bus stops. Trolleybuses 72, 73 and 76 are a mere 2 minutes away. Various shops, cafés and restaurants can be found nearby. It’s a 20-minute walk to City Park and a 25-minute walk to the Danube.

Flatmates:
Your flatmate will be a 19-year-old female Hungarian university student. She speaks excellent English.
I (Uli, 52 years old, female, German, working in Munich, also speak English and Hungarian) still have a room in the flat, but I’m in Budapest only 3-4 times a year for about ten days each time.

Wanted:
We’re looking for a nice, friendly and considerate female flatmate aged 18-25 who speaks English or Hungarian. You should care about your surroundings and tidy up after yourself. Sorry, no pets and no smoking in the flat.

Your room:
Your room is 24 square metres in size, roughly square in shape and bright: in the summer the sun shines in in the morning, but even in winter there is still plenty of light as we live on the top floor (the building has got a lift) and the room has two windows. The room height of 3.75 metres (typical of an old building - the house was built in 1905) also makes everything feel very spacious! There is a wooden floor and a "galéria" (wooden contraption, kind of a high bed, see photos). The furnishings consist of: an old desk, swivel chair, mattress and shelves. There’s a built-in wardrobe in the hall right next to the room. We've got a cosy kitchen with a dining table and the morning sun shining in, and a large living room (25 sqm), which gets the afternoon sun.

Rent: EUR 225 + utility bills
Utilities are billed every month in forints and currently average about HUF 12,000 per person - but of course they depend on consumption. They include gas, electricity, water and internet flatrate.

The rental contract will be indefinite with a 3-month notice period. A three-months deposit is required.
