FAQ:
🏠 How big it is and which floor? - Just 30m2, but has everything: bathroom, living room with an open kitchen and a separate bedroom. It's semi-basement.
🌞 Isn't it dark and/or moist? - Although it's 3 steps downstairs it has a huge east facing window. Also a dehumidifier will be available upon your arrival (already ordered it, just not yet there).
🥶 How is the heating? - Completely electrical heating in each room and a towel dryer in the bathroom.
🚋 How is the transportation? - ELTE, BME are in 20 mins distance, Semmelweis is even closer! There are 4 trams in 5 min walk, 2 and 2B towards Jászai Mari square and 23 and 24 towards Keleti railway station. Also several buses (54,55 and 224), not to mention the night buses such as 918, 923, 934, 979. If you feel, you can walk to Boráros in 15 mins and hop on tram 4-6.
🎭 What is nearby? - Lurdy-plaza and several groceries (spar, aldi, lidl, tesco) are in walking distance, and there is a non-stop just around the corner which is a huge win! If you feel lack of culture, MÜPA is on the other side of the street. Not to mention that Budapest Park is in walking distance as well;)
🍽 Will I have everything to cook? - Yes, the kitchen is well equipped (pots, pans, and other cooking utensils) . However it doesn't have a built in stove, there are 2 portable inductive cooktops and an airfryer, a kettle and ofc a french press. But there are plenty of restaurants and/or cafeteria in the area if you are not in chef-mode.
🎒 What do I need to bring then? - Your personal stuff and the basics such as your fav bed linen and towels.
